Do you look back when you're in trouble even though you're proudly moving forward?

당신이 새로운 사업을 시작하기로 마음먹었다면, 아무리 상황이 나빠져도 쉽게 굽혀지지 않는 강하고 담대한 마음 가짐이 절대적으로 필요하다. 사업을 시작한 목적이 무엇이었는지 그 목적을 붙들지 않는다면, 쉽게 초점을 잃고 빗나가기 쉽다. 그것은 마치 이스라엘 민족이 이집트에서의 노예 생활을 그리워하며 그때의 좋았던 일들을 추억하는 것과도 같다. 하지만 당신이 그렇게 뒤를 돌아볼 때, 당신 앞에 놓여진 미래의 큰 축복을 놓치게 되는 셈이다. 종종 회사에 큰 전환이 있은 후, 그것이 온전히 회복되고 모든 직원들이 이를 느끼기 전까지는 회사의 사기가 많이 떨어질 것이다. 이러한 때가 올 것임을 미리 알고 직원들을 이끌 준비를 하라. 두려움을 피하지 말고 직면하라. 이전 것이 편하다고 구습에 매이지도 말라. 당신이 도전을 직면하길 거리낀다면, 이 도전이 제일 먼저 당신의 앞길에 태클을 걸 것이다. 도전 가운데 시작해 보라. 그리고 계속 전진하라. 처음에는 어려움도 불편도 있지만, 자신감을 잃지 않고 계속 가다 보면 어느새 그 어려움은 극복되어 있을 것이다. 

“악인은 쫓아오는 자가 없어도 도망하나 의인은 사자같이 담대하니라” (잠 28:1)

If you are determined to start a new business, it is absolutely necessary to have a strong and courageous heart that does not bend easily no matter how bad the situation gets. It is easy to lose focus and miss a certain point if you do not hold onto the purpose of starting a business. It is like the Israelis missing out on their slavery in Egypt and remembering the good things back then. But when you look back like that, you will miss the great blessings of the future that lie ahead of you. Often, after a major transformation in a company, the company's morale will drop a lot until it is fully recovered and all the employees feel it. Be prepared to lead your employees, knowing in advance that these times will come. Do not avoid fear and face it. Do not become old-fashioned because the previous one is comfortable. If you are distracted from facing a challenge, this challenge will be the first to tackle your way. Start in the middle of it. And keep moving forward. Difficulties are inconvenient at first, but if you keep going without losing your confidence, you will soon be overcome.

“To you I call, O LORD my Rock; do not turn a deaf ear to me. For if you remain silent, I will be like those who have gone down to the pit. Hear my cry for mercy as I call to you for help, as I lift up my hands toward your Most Holy Place.”  (Psalm 28:1)
