Do you make hasty decisions?

어떤 사업가들은 자신의 빠른 결정을 자랑스럽게 생각하기도 한다. 그러나 빠른 것이 항상 최선은 아니다. 어리석은 결정을 내리지 않으려면 생각을 많이 하고 난 후 결정을 내려야 한다는 것은, 생각할 것도 없이 지극히 당연하다. 흔히 “나중에 후회 할 것을 생각하고서 말을 내뱉어라”는 말을 많이 한다. 당신의 의견이나 결정을 주장하기 전에, 잠시 멈추는 습관을 가져 보라. 먼저는 양쪽에서 들은 모든 상황을 당신이 이해하고 있고 당신의 시각보다 더 폭넓게 고려했는지 확인하라, 현명한 판단을 내리고 싶지만 시간이 없을 때 들들 볶여서 성급한 결정을 내려 버리면 안 된다. 당신이 심사숙고하기 위해 잠시 시간을 가지면, 다른 사람들은 당신을 보고 당신의 판단력에 대해 확신을 갖게 될 것이다. 행동을 취하기 전에 사안 전체에 대해 생각해 보라. 그러면 당신의 현명한 결정은 당신의 사업을 성공으로 이끌 것이다.

Some businessmen are proud of their quick decisions. However, being quick is not always the best. It is only natural that you have to think about it a lot before making a decision in order not to make a stupid one. It is often said, "Think of something you will regret later and say it out loud." Before asserting your opinion or decision, try to make a habit of pausing. First, make sure you understand everything you hear from both sides and consider it more broadly than your perspective. Do not rush into making hasty decisions when you want to make wise decisions but do not want to. When you take a moment to ponder, others will see you and become convinced of your judgment. Think about the whole issue before taking action. Then your wise decisions will lead your business to success.
