If you have decided to start a new business, you must have an unyielding and courageous mindset that does not easily bend no matter how difficult the situation becomes. Unless you hold on to the very purpose for which you began, you will easily lose focus and drift away. This is like the Israelites longing for their days of slavery in Egypt and reminiscing about the few good things they had there. But when you look back in such a way, you end up missing the great blessings that lie ahead of you.

Often, after a major transition in a company, morale will decline until recovery is complete and everyone begins to feel stability again. Anticipate this season and be prepared to lead your people through it. Do not avoid fear—face it. Do not cling to old ways simply because they feel comfortable. If you hesitate to confront challenges, those very challenges will trip you up first. Step into the challenge. Keep moving forward. At first, there may be hardship and discomfort, but if you press on with confidence, you will soon find those difficulties have been overcome.
