Do you truly value every employee in your company?

사장이나 총 관리자는 회사를 이끄는 대표의 자리로 가장 눈에 띄는 자리에 있지만, 이에 못지않게 다른 직원들 역시 중요한 역할을 감당하고 있으며 모두가 귀하다. 시간을 내서 직원 한 사람마다의 가치를 평가해 보라, 한 가지 이상 직원들의 강점과 적어도 한 가지씩 직원의 수고함에 고맙게 생각하는 점은 무엇인지, 또 그들의 노력이 회사와 그 부서의 발전에 어떻게 기여했는지에 대해 이야기해 주는 습관을 가지라. 진심 어린 칭찬은 그 사람을 일으켜 세운다. 만일 당신이 직원들이 무엇을 잘하는지 주의 깊게 봐주고 시간을 따로 내서 그들의 수고함을 말로 칭찬해 주는 습관을 들이게 되면, 직원들의 사시가 올라가고 회사의 팀워크도 훨씬 더 좋아질 것이다. 

The CEO or general manager stands in the most visible position as the one who leads the organization. Yet, no less than them, every other employee also carries an important role, and each person is valuable. Take time to reflect on the worth of each individual on your team. Identify at least one strength in every employee and at least one aspect of their hard work for which you are grateful. Make it your habit to tell them how their efforts have contributed to the growth of the company and their department.

Sincere praise lifts a person up. If you cultivate the habit of paying close attention to what your employees do well and set aside time to express appreciation for their efforts in words, their morale will rise and the teamwork of your organization will grow much stronger.
