19 May, 2026 in 비즈니스 잠언

A metalworker labors diligently to produce the iron that a craftsman will use. Yet it is usually the craftsman who receives all the praise. However, if the metalworker does not do his job well, impurities will remain in the metal, weakening its strength and ultimately ruining the craftsman’s work. Often, the success or failure of a task depends not so much on our own efforts as on the efforts of others. For example, a restaurant waiter cannot serve good food to customers if the chef prepares the dishes poorly. If we are wise, we will praise and encourage those who supply the materials and products that support the success of our work. Show sincere interest and gratitude for the hard work of your suppliers. If you do so, they will repay you with the highest quality.

“I was beside Him as a master craftsman, and I was daily His delight, rejoicing always before Him.” (Proverbs 8:30)

19 May, 2026 in 비즈니스 잠언

One of the fundamental traits of successful people in business is perseverance—the refusal to be discouraged by adversity—and an attitude that continues to look toward victory even at the very door of defeat, never collapsing. If you lose a customer, reach out again and find ways to win them back. Also, seek out and contact other potential customers. Persistence produces results. If the quality of your equipment or products is poor, strive to identify the root cause, and continue working until the problem is resolved. If a key employee leaves the company without completing their work, study the documents they left behind and push forward to finish the project. Whatever problem you are facing within your company, if you persistently work to solve it with determination, it will ultimately bring profit.

“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” (Proverbs 4:23)

19 May, 2026 in 비즈니스 잠언

We know well that the Lord has already prepared a place for us in heaven. The same principle can be applied when hiring a new employee. Before the new employee’s first day, prepare an orientation plan in advance. Make sure the workspace is ready—confirm that there is a desk available, that the phone is working properly, and that all necessary office supplies are in place.

Create an orientation checklist that includes the key items to be covered on the first day. Introduce the new employee to colleagues and key leaders, give them a tour of the company facilities, explain their responsibilities, and show how their role supports the overall work of the organization.

Give the new employee time to become familiar with the environment and make it their own. However, do not leave them without any responsibilities for too long. On the first day, they should be taught the basics of their work. When new employees feel welcomed, they will be more motivated and better prepared to carry out the tasks entrusted to them.

“for receiving instruction in prudent behavior, doing what is right and just and fair.”
(Proverbs 1:3)
